City Dance  |  Community Garden  |  The Chocolate Nutcracker

Starting in the spring of 2008, Project Hopewell's Community Garden was a great success. It came about due to the need for fresh affordable produce in this cost increasing economy.

The garden allows community members to have access a to a fresher, more nutritious food supply, increased self-reliance of communities to provide for their own food needs and promote comprehensive response to local food, garden and nutrition issues.

Community volunteers assist with the planting and harvesting of crops, while sharing the produce with underserved members of the community. The garden will also provide education on organic gardening and healthy nutrition facts. The garden will remains to be a help to the community for 2009 and will undergo planting of different vegetables in the spring.
